Rich, clean aromas of crushed ripe currants and hints of briary berries, following through to a full-bodied palate with soft, pillowy tannins that are coated in sweet black fruit that pushes through the long finish. Tightens up a bit, right at the end, but this is really all about the dense, pure and super clean fruit. Delicious to drink now or hold.
A mix of floral and exotic-fruit notes on the nose, following through to a silky, full-bodied palate that’s full of fruity flavor that persists. Rich and round viognier style. Drink now.
SAUVIGNON BLANC BARIQUE 2019
Quite intense aromas of fresh herbs, cedro zest and peel. A touch of mild spice lurks in the background, too. Immediate palate that grows in intensity, thanks to clean, bright, citrusy acidity, then a touch of dry mineral passes the baton to some mild, sweet oak to finish. Fresh, delicious and very tasty. Pleasant apricot-pink color. Aromas and flavors of ripe peach, red berry, peach pit and stone. Full and flavorful with bright, mineral acidity and a touch of dried herb coming through on the finish. Lightly exotic fruit aromas with fresh pineapple, passion fruit and banana. Medium-bodied with a fresh attack, turning immediately minerally on the palate, then swinging again towards ripe-pineapple notes that sustain the medium finish. Touch of fresh herbs coming through at the end. Crisp enough for an aperitif, but better with white fish or seafood. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Chardonnay, viognier, prensal blanc and sauvignon blanc.
